Dr Alexandros Pino

Laboratory Teaching Faculty, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, NKUA

Dr Alexandros Pino is a Diplomate Electrical Engineer with an MSc and a PhD in Computer Science. Currently, he is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Faculty at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, division of Telecommunications and Signal Processing.

He also teaches at the University of Nicosia, in the distance learning Postgraduate Program in Special Education. He has taught Introduction and Applications of Informatics, Digital Accessibility and Assistive Information Technologies, Applications of Technology in Special Education, Development of Sensor-Based Applications, Circuits and Systems Lab, Real-Time Digital Signal Processing Systems, Electromagnetism, Optics, and Modern Physics.

His research interests include Assistive Technologies, Accessibility, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Brain-Computer Interfaces, and Input Devices Evaluation. In his past work, he has published his research and contributed to creating the Accessibility Unit for Students with Disabilities at the NKUA.
